Dr. Craig Steingraber has been private practice since 1991. He specializes in the diagnosis and non-drug treatments of spinal and extremity related pain and symptoms when caused by dysfunction in the nerve-muscle-joint system of the body whether due to injury or day to day life. In addition, Dr. Steingraber has and continues with extensive post graduate education in fields of functional neurology, functional medicine, sports medicine and injury due to motor vehicle collisions. These areas of study improve the diagnostic ability and treatment for spinal and extremity related symptoms and additionally allow Dr. Steingraber to assess possible causation, improvement of and referrals for non-spinal related conditions. Some of Dr. Steingraber’s past and current associations include staff chiropractor at Memorial Hermann Hospital and Houston Baptist University’s Wellness Center, referral chiropractor for National Football League’s Houston Texans and staff chiropractor for Cancer Treatment Center of America’s Southeastern Regional Hospital here in Newnan Georgia. After a medical history and diagnostics are obtained and interpreted a report of findings and initial estimates of care and cost are supplied, usually before treatment begins. Dr. Steingraber implements a holistic approach in treatment which may include either manual or hand held device chiropractic adjustments, massage, prescriptive exercises, physiotherapy and nutritional counseling. Each individual treatment plan is designed to meet patient goals. Of course, referrals to other health care providers are made when appropriate.
